There aren’t enough words to try to comprehend what happened in Boston.

My heart and thoughts go out to all the runners, spectators and first responders who one moment were celebrating a shared moment of triumph and joy, and the next were terrified, injured and in pain because of acts of cruel cowardice.

The running community is strong and supports each other, but no amount of support and love will bring back a loved one who lost their life on what was supposed to be a joyful day.

Boston, my heart breaks for you. All our hearts are broken for you.
